Three kinds of Maths support

Different goals need different teaching

Mathematics home tutors

One-to-one sessions at home, paced to the student. Ideal when confidence is low, gaps go back to earlier classes, or school and practical timings make a fixed batch difficult.

Class XII Mathematics tuition

Complete coverage of the CBSE Class XII syllabus through NCERT, with board-style presentation: steps shown, reasons stated, final answers boxed.

Mathematics for IIT-JEE

The same chapters taken to JEE depth, plus Class XI topics. Emphasis on choosing efficient methods and solving accurately against the clock.

Where the 80 theory marks come from

Knowing the weightage helps a student plan revision sensibly. Calculus alone accounts for close to half of the theory paper, which is why we give it the most time — and why weaknesses in differentiation show up everywhere.

The remaining 20 marks come from internal assessment, including periodic tests and Mathematics activities in school.

Unit-wise marks as per the CBSE curriculum for 2025–26. CBSE can revise these; we update our plan when it does.

  • Calculus

    35 marks

Continuity & differentiability, applications of derivatives, integrals, applications of integrals, differential equations

  • Vectors & 3D geometry

    14 marks

Vector algebra, lines in space, angles and shortest distance

  • Algebra

    10 marks

    Matrices and determinants

  • Relations & functions

    8 marks

Types of relations and functions, inverse trigonometric functions

  • Probability

    8 marks

Conditional probability, Bayes’ theorem, random variables

  • Linear programming

    5 marks

    Formulating and solving LPP graphically

Inside a session

What a typical Maths session looks like

Whether at home or at the centre, sessions follow a simple rhythm that keeps the student actively solving rather than passively watching.

  1. 01

    Review

Quick look at the last homework — what went wrong and why.

  2. 02

    Concept

The new idea, explained from what the student already knows.

  3. 03

    Guided examples

Solved together, with the student suggesting each next step.

  4. 04

    Independent practice

Problems attempted alone while the tutor watches the method.

  5. 05

    Next steps

Targeted homework and a note of anything to revisit.

Advice for students

Six habits that raise Maths scores

None of these need talent. They need consistency — and a tutor who checks them every week.

  1. 01

    Write every step

CBSE awards step marks. A skipped line can cost marks even when the final answer is right.

  2. 02

    Finish NCERT first

Including miscellaneous exercises — the board paper is built on them.

  3. 03

Keep a formula and mistakes notebook

Re-reading your own past errors is the fastest revision there is.

  4. 04

    Practise without the solution open

Struggling for a few minutes before checking is where learning happens.

  5. 05

    Time yourself weekly

Speed comes from familiarity. Timed sets reveal which chapters are still slow.

  6. 06

    Revisit, don’t just repeat

Return to old chapters every few weeks so calculus does not crowd out probability.

Mathematics questions

Maths tuition FAQs

Do you provide Mathematics home tutors in Kota?

Yes. Mathematics home tutoring is one of our core services, especially for CBSE Class XII students. Tell us your locality and the timings that suit the family, and we will confirm what is possible.

My child is weak in Maths. Is it too late in Class XII?

It is rarely too late, but the plan matters. We first find the specific gaps — often algebra or basic differentiation from earlier classes — and fix those before pushing ahead, because Class XII calculus is built on them.

Do you follow NCERT for Class XII Mathematics?

Yes. The CBSE board paper is based on the NCERT textbook, so every chapter starts there, including its solved examples and miscellaneous exercises, before moving to additional practice.

Can the same tutor help with JEE Mathematics?

Class XII topics such as calculus, vectors and probability are common to both, so the work overlaps. For JEE we add higher-difficulty problems and Class XI topics like coordinate geometry, sequences and complex numbers. See IIT-JEE preparation.

How is the Class XII Mathematics board exam marked?

Under the current CBSE scheme, Mathematics has an 80-mark theory paper and 20 marks of internal assessment. Calculus carries the largest share of theory marks. Check the latest curriculum on the CBSE academic website each year.
