Admissions & FAQs

Joining DSM Classes starts with a conversation

There is no rush and no pressure. Tell us about the student, ask your questions, and decide when you have the information you need. This page explains how it works — and what to ask any institute before you commit.

How it works

Four simple steps

  1. Step 1: Get in touch

Call, WhatsApp or send the enquiry form. A parent or the student can make the first contact.

  2. Step 2: Tell us about the student

Class, board, target exam, recent marks and the topics that feel hardest.

  3. Step 3: Choose the format

Classroom at the centre or a home tutor; one subject or both. Ask about a demo class.

  4. Step 4: Confirm fees & timings

We share the exact fee and schedule for the option you choose. You decide.

A guide for parents

Eight questions to ask any coaching institute

Kota has many options. These questions help you compare them on what actually affects learning — including us. Ask them when you call.

  1. 01

Who will actually teach my child?

The person teaching the batch matters more than any brochure. Ask whether you can meet or hear from them.

  2. 02

How many students are in a batch?

Smaller groups make it easier to notice when a student is lost and to ask questions without hesitation.

  3. 03

    How are doubts handled?

Look for a clear answer: during class, after class, or in dedicated time. “Anytime” often means “rarely”.

  4. 04

What does practice look like between classes?

Homework, previous-year questions and graded exercises turn understanding into exam skill.

  5. 05

How is progress measured and shared?

Tests are only useful if mistakes are reviewed and parents hear about patterns, not just scores.

  6. 06

Does the pace suit my child?

A pace that is right for the fastest student can leave others behind. Ask how the institute handles both.

  7. 07

What exactly do the fees include?

Ask about study material, tests and any additional charges up front, and about the refund policy.

  8. 08

How does it fit with school and travel?

Long commutes and clashing timings quietly drain energy. Home tutoring can help where they do.

Choosing a format

Classroom or home tutoring?

Neither is better in general — each suits a different student. A quick guide:

Choose the classroom if…

  • The student is preparing for IIT-JEE and benefits from peers and routine.
  • They study better away from home distractions.
  • They are reasonably confident and want to be stretched.

Choose a home tutor if…

  • The student needs to rebuild basics or confidence in Maths or Physics.
  • School, practicals or travel make fixed batch timings difficult.
  • They hesitate to ask questions in a group.

Before you call

Useful to have ready

None of this is required, but it helps us give you a precise answer in the first conversation.

  • The student’s current class, school board and stream
  • Target exam: CBSE boards, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or a combination
  • Recent marks or test results in Physics and Mathematics
  • Chapters or topics that feel difficult right now
  • Preferred format, your locality in Kota and suitable timings

Frequently asked

Admissions FAQs

Can’t find your question? Ask us on WhatsApp.

How do I start the admission process?

Call or WhatsApp +91 99286 70594, or send the enquiry form. We will talk through the student’s class, subjects and goals, and explain the options before anything is decided.

Why are fees not listed on the website?

Fees depend on the course, the number of subjects and whether the student studies at the centre or with a home tutor. We share the exact fee for the option you are considering directly, so there are no surprises.

Can we attend a demo class first?

Please ask when you contact us. Seeing how a topic is taught is a sensible way to decide, and we are happy to discuss it.

Which classes and boards do you teach?

Our courses are IIT-JEE preparation (JEE Main and JEE Advanced), Physics and Mathematics tutorials, and CBSE Class XII home tutors for Physics and Mathematics. If your situation is different, ask us — we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

Do you offer home tuition everywhere in Kota?

Home tutoring depends on your locality and preferred timings. Share both when you enquire and we will confirm what is possible.

Can students from outside Kota join?

Students who have moved to Kota for coaching are welcome to enquire about our classroom programme at the centre behind MPB 22.

What should the student bring to the first session?

Their school textbooks (especially NCERT), current notebooks, and any recent test papers. These tell us more about where the student stands than any form can.

Do you promise results?

No. We promise careful teaching, honest feedback and regular practice. Ranks and marks depend on the student’s own effort and the competition in that year, and any institute that guarantees them should be questioned.
