IIT-JEE tutorials for JEE Main and JEE Advanced

Engineering entrance rewards students who understand Physics and Mathematics deeply enough to apply them to unfamiliar problems. That is what our IIT-JEE preparation is built around.

Understand the exam

JEE Main and JEE Advanced are two different tests

Families often use “IIT-JEE” for both, but they serve different purposes and reward different strengths. Knowing the difference shapes how a student should prepare.

How we prepare you

Three layers of JEE preparation

Good JEE preparation is not a race through chapters. It is built in layers, each depending on the one beneath it.

  1. Layer 1

Concepts that can be explained, not just recalled

Every chapter starts with the underlying principle. A student who can explain why angular momentum is conserved, or why a limit exists, can handle a twisted question; one who has memorised a formula usually cannot.

    • Concept clarity
    • NCERT foundations
    • Derivations
  2. Layer 2

Problem solving at JEE Advanced depth

Once a concept is secure, problems become harder and start combining chapters — mechanics with calculus, electrostatics with geometry. Students learn to break a problem into parts and choose an approach before calculating.

    • Multi-concept problems
    • Step-by-step solutions
    • Previous-year questions
  3. Layer 3

    Exam temperament and strategy

The final layer is performance under time pressure: mock tests, reviewing errors honestly, deciding which questions to attempt first, and avoiding negative marking traps.

    • Mock tests
    • Time strategy
    • Error analysis

Subject focus

Physics and Mathematics, where JEE is most demanding

These two subjects decide a large share of JEE outcomes, because they reward reasoning over recall. Here is what each covers at JEE level.

Physics for JEE

  • Kinematics & laws of motion
  • Work, energy & power
  • Rotational motion
  • Gravitation
  • Properties of matter
  • Thermodynamics & kinetic theory
  • Oscillations & waves
  • Electrostatics & capacitance
  • Current electricity
  • Magnetism & EMI
  • Optics
  • Modern physics

Mathematics for JEE

  • Sets, relations & functions
  • Complex numbers & quadratics
  • Matrices & determinants
  • Permutations & combinations
  • Binomial theorem
  • Sequences & series
  • Limits, continuity & differentiability
  • Integral calculus
  • Differential equations
  • Coordinate geometry
  • Vectors & 3D geometry
  • Probability & trigonometry

IIT tutorials

Tutorials are where understanding gets tested

A lecture explains an idea; a tutorial checks whether the student can use it. In our IIT tutorials, students attempt problems themselves first, then go through the reasoning step by step — including why tempting wrong approaches fail.

Boards and JEE together. Class XII Physics and Mathematics are a large part of the JEE syllabus, so we connect board-style written answers with JEE-style problem solving rather than treating them as separate subjects. Read more about our CBSE Class XII tuition.

  • Doubts are cleared before moving on, not saved for “later”.
  • Previous-year JEE questions are used to show how concepts are actually examined.
  • Mistakes in tests are reviewed, so the same error is not repeated.

IIT-JEE questions

Asked by JEE aspirants and parents

Is it better to start JEE preparation in Class XI or Class XII?

Earlier is easier. Most of the JEE syllabus is built on Class XI topics such as mechanics, calculus foundations and coordinate geometry, so starting in Class XI leaves time to understand them properly. Students who begin in Class XII or after Class XII can still prepare well with a focused plan — speak to us about the student’s current stage.

Do you prepare students for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced?

Yes. Our IIT-JEE tutorials cover the concepts and problem-solving needed for JEE Main and extend into the deeper, multi-concept questions that JEE Advanced is known for.

Which subjects do your IIT-JEE tutorials cover?

Physics and Mathematics are at the centre of our IIT-JEE teaching. JEE also tests Chemistry, so please ask us directly about Chemistry support for your batch or home tutoring plan.

How do I balance JEE preparation with Class XII board exams?

The two overlap more than students expect: Class XII Physics and Mathematics form a large part of the JEE syllabus. We connect board-style answers with JEE-style problem solving so that one supports the other. Our CBSE Class XII page explains the board side.

Do you guarantee a rank or an IIT seat?

No. No honest institute can. Results depend on the student’s effort, consistency and the competition in a given year. What we can offer is careful teaching, regular practice and straightforward feedback.

Where can I check official JEE dates and rules?

JEE Main information is published by the National Testing Agency at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and JEE Advanced information at jeeadv.ac.in. Always rely on the current year’s official information brochure.
